Raw firepower is fun, but it's smart play that wins battles. Whether you're new or looking to sharpen up, these tactics will help you outmaneuver opponents and carry your team.
1. Never stand still in the open
The fastest way out of a game is standing in the middle of the field. Move between cover, stay low, and use your surroundings. A moving target behind cover is far harder to hit.
2. Use cover the right way
Don't hug one spot all game. Peek out, take your shot, and pull back before they answer. Change which side you lean from so opponents can't predict your angle.
3. Communicate with your team
Simple callouts win games: "enemy left," "reloading, cover me," "pushing right." A team that talks beats a team of lone wolves every time - even if the lone wolves shoot better.
4. Reload behind cover - always
Reloading in the open is asking to get tagged. Duck behind cover first, swap your mag, then re-engage. Carry a spare mag so you're never fumbling mid-fight.
5. Flank instead of charging
Rushing straight at an entrenched opponent rarely works. Send a teammate wide to flank while you pin the enemy in place. A shot from an unexpected angle wins the exchange.
6. Manage your ammo
Full-auto is satisfying, but spraying leaves you empty at the worst moment. Fire in controlled bursts, and keep an eye on your mag so you reload on your terms, not theirs.
7. Play the objective, not just the kills
In objective modes, the win goes to the team that captures the flag or holds the point - not the one with the most eliminations. Keep the goal in mind and use eliminations to enable it.
Master these and you'll notice the difference immediately: fewer early exits, more clutch moments, and a lot more wins.
